Private 1-to-1 video sessions, and the practice around them.

A calm, simple tool for people who talk to clients one at a time.

Why Talkra exists

Talkra started as a tool for one psychotherapist. She needed a simple, private way to see clients by video: send a link, the client opens it, the session starts.

General meeting apps were built for teams and webinars. Therapy platforms came bundled with billing, notes and monthly fees she didn't need. Neither was made for the quiet one-to-one hour she spends with a client.

So Talkra was built around that hour: the call, the client, and the next appointment, without the machinery of a meeting app or a clinic suite.

Who it is for

Anyone who works with people one at a time:

  • Psychotherapists and psychologists
  • Coaches and mentors
  • Consultants and advisers
  • Tutors and language teachers

What it solves

  • Clients join from a link in their browser, with no account and no app to install.
  • No screen full of buttons: during the session it is just the two of you.
  • Sessions and clients live in one calendar in your time zone, with each client's time zone saved alongside.
  • Video goes directly between the two browsers whenever the network allows, is encrypted in transit and is never recorded.

How it is different

Not a meeting app

Big meeting apps are built for groups and companies. For a 1-to-1 session that means accounts, downloads and a screen full of controls you never use.

Not a practice suite

Practice-management suites are powerful but expensive. You pay for billing, notes and forms even if all you need is the call.

The session, and the practice around it

Talkra is the session and the practice around it: who you see, when, in which time zone, and a simple report. It leaves out group meetings, recording, transcription, and screen sharing.

What it has

  • Browser video calls with camera and microphone, and a relay fallback for strict networks
  • A permanent personal room link you share once and reuse
  • Scheduled calls on a weekly calendar, or a call right now
  • A client list with each client's time zone
  • Call types
  • Reports
  • Calendar synchronization
  • Sign-in with email or Google
  • Multilingual interface
  • Data export and account deletion in your settings

What it leaves out

  • Group calls: every call is exactly two people
  • Call recording
  • Transcription
  • Screen sharing
  • Session notes or clinical records
  • Native mobile apps (it works in your phone's browser)

Not yet

  • File sharing
  • Client self-booking
  • Payments or invoicing
